Your practice.
Thoughtfully supported.
Built behind the scenes — together.

Seven years running our own advice practice taught us what back-office support should look like. We're now offering that to a small number of Lifespan firms through the Pilot Program.

The challenge

Growing advice practices outgrow their internal capacity — before they're ready to redesign it.

The work keeps coming. Client expectations rise. Compliance requirements don't slow down. Teams stretch, advisers absorb the gaps, and pressure shifts to time, focus, and decision quality.

Back-office bottlenecks are real

Admin tasks stack up, reviews pile on, and advisers spend hours on work they shouldn’t need to touch.

Local hiring is hard to scale

Experienced, technically sound admin staff are scarce and costly, recruitment is slow, and knowledge walks out when they do.

Support breaks without a system

Without a system, output varies. Rework consumes adviser time and erodes client confidence.

How we work

Every practice runs differently. We start with discovery, not a fixed service menu.

As part of the Pilot Program, we explore what support could look like for your practice — considering your systems, workflows, and governance needs before shaping any approach.

Embedded · Account managed

Dedicated Managed Services

A named Account Manager as your integration partner — coordinating delivery across our experienced team. One point of contact. Multiple skill sets behind them. You delegate the work. We own the outcome.

  • Named Account Manager overseeing day-to-day priorities and delivery
  • Work distributed across our talent pool — not limited to one individual
  • Access a broader range of capabilities without managing multiple people
  • Delivered using a mix of your systems and ours, based on your security requirements
  • Fixed monthly fee for defined hours or agreed task types
During the pilot Paraplanning and SOA generation are not included, but may be introduced based on practice demand. All support is limited to administrative and data collection tasks — no product comparisons, no advice sign-off, and no direct client contact unless explicitly agreed in writing.

The right approach is shaped through discovery — not assumed upfront. We'd love to explore what could work for your practice.

The process

How the Pilot Program works.

Discover

We start by getting to know your practice — where the pressure is, how work actually flows, and what better support would make possible. No assumptions. Just good questions and careful listening.

Think it through

We take what we've learned and work through what support could realistically look like — shaped around your systems, your team, and your goals. We do this with you, not to you.

Propose

We put a clear, considered proposal together — something concrete to react to, refine, and agree on before anything begins. No lock-in, no pressure. Just a shared starting point.

Get started

Once we're aligned, we bring the right people, systems, and experience to make it real. We stay close in the early days, adjust as we learn, and build something that actually works for your practice.

Built from the inside

We didn't build this for the market. We built it for ourselves.

Finnacle is an Australian financial advisory practice and Lifespan Financial Planning licensee. Over seven years, we consistently exceeded client expectations — building a team, refining our processes, and deepening our delivery capability from the inside.

It worked. The processes became repeatable. The quality became measurable. The continuity became built in.

Now we're applying those lessons beyond our own walls. Collaborus is the operating model we built for Finnacle — made available to practices like yours.

Why Cebu? Cebu CBD has a deep pool of finance graduates with Australian financial services exposure, strong English proficiency, and our time zone overlap makes morning collaboration natural. Our team is office-based — not home-based — with managed devices, backup power, and business-grade infrastructure.

FAQs

A few practical questions.

Our delivery team operates from a dedicated office environment in Cebu, Philippines. Work is office-based, not home-based, and supported by managed devices and business-grade infrastructure. This setup supports consistency, supervision, and continuity as the pilot evolves.
It means we're working with a small group of practices to explore, test, and refine the right support approach before scaling. This is not an investment or partnership arrangement. It's an early-stage delivery pilot focused on learning, fit, and practical outcomes — with no obligation to proceed beyond the pilot phase.
No changes are assumed upfront. The pilot starts with discovery and conversation. From there, we explore what support could look like — based on your practice's context, constraints, and preferences — rather than applying a predefined model.
Continuity is designed around workflow and knowledge, not individuals. Key tasks, handovers, and playbooks are documented early so transitions — planned or unplanned — don't disrupt your practice. This approach is refined throughout the pilot as real-world learning emerges.
There are no upfront setup or recruitment fees during the pilot stage. Any engagement only proceeds once discovery is complete and a proposed approach is agreed. The intent is to explore fit first — not to lock practices into long-term commitments.
